I finally got a chance to sit down and listen to the new Nanci Griffith tribute album on Spotify that was released about a week ago. More Than A Whisper: Celebrating The Music of Nanci Griffith is a wonderful collection of her songs done by a nice group of artists many of whom are some of my folk and country rock favorites too.Singers on the album include Emmylou Harris, Shawn Colvin, Steve Earle, John Prine, Sarah Jarosz, Lyle Lovett, Todd Snider, Iris Dement, Mary Gautier, and many more.
There could very easily be at least two more albums worth of artists singing her songs.
