The Electoral College

First of all... the Electoral College should be retired. This election and the aftermath has shown that not only is there no need for the Electoral College but that is an impediment to democracy.

It has always been just a sop to the slavers and the current batch of racists in the republican party trying to use that outdated and outmoded institution to usurp the election today.

I support a constitutionally amendment to abolish the electoral college. At the very least there should be a reform of the process that proportions votes that reflect the popular vote. No winner takes all.
