Blizzards in Los Angeles

It's been a very strange and unusual winter here in Buffalo with lots of extremes in the weather but probably not as much as many other parts of the country and indeed the world. It is the time of climate change and global warning and everyone is experiencing it now.

The experience of California is particularly weird as they have had extremely bad droughts over the past few years which has led to long seasons of fires with smoke filling the skies for weeks. 

This week there have been blizzards dropping heavy snow measured in multiple feet in Los Angeles County that has trapped residents in their homes. Now most of the heavy snow is in the mountains near LA and other parts of Southern California where they do get some snow in winter but nothing like was has been happening there this week. They have never had actual blizzards in their communities and even the lowland areas of LA have had significant snow. It's really weird to see snow covered palm trees.

However, the Fox Lies channel is still spouting misinformation about the climate crises claiming it is a hoax and there are people acting like sheep that believe the lies which they say are really just their opinions and are protected by the Constitution that they have also been attempting to overthrow. We live in weird times.
