Hanging Out with Andrew

We had a wonderful weekend with Sean and Ashley in town with Andrew. It's hard to believe that Andrew is ten months old already. He is such a fun little boy and a great sleeper too.  He went to bed at his regular time after a bath both nights he was here and both times he slept until around 8 am in the morning... uninterrupted. Nice.

Sean and Ashley went out on Saturday night after putting him to bed. He slept very nicely in Sean's old room in the pack 'n' play crib that I set up for him. They have a device that acts as a video monitor and provides ambient sound. I guess kids need that white noise these days to sleep. Well, whatever it takes. He is a very good eater too.

Andrew loved crawling around our house and especially loved discovering the pots and pans in the kitchen. Fortunately we had lots of toys and books around to keep him busy.

He is also a very cuddly little guy who loves to press his head close to your chest while holding him. He likes to wave and smile too. We can't wait to see him again even though he just left us this morning. He will be having his first birthday in April and we plan to be there.
