Last night we went to see the Buffalo Philharmonic Orchestra at Kleinhans Music Hall play three of Tachaikovsky's greatest masterworks. The concert included his Suite from the opera The Sleeping Beauty, his Variations on a Rococo Theme for Cello and closed after intermission with his Symphony No. 6 in B minor, Pathetique.
We had four tickets from the Bairds so we took Dave and Donna with us.
It was a wonderful very crowd pleasing performance. There was also a piece featuring a very outstanding Polish cello player Marcin Zdunik.
