No Concert Tonight

We had a Buffalo Chamber Music concert scheduled for tonight featuring the Balourdet Quartet but we decided to skip it for several reasons. The weather was bad. The snow had stopped but there was ice everywhere and the temperatures were single digits and maybe getting up to 12 degrees. It was dangerous to walk anyway and driving was bad too. We are also getting over bad colds and did not want to go out into a crowd again. My back was sore from all of the snow shoveling and ice chopping. Becky had a little stomach problem. And perhaps the biggest reason was that we had tickets for the Philharmonic this Saturday and we invited Dave and Donna to go with us. We also have reservations for dinner that night at JT's on Elmwood Ave. We don't want to mix that or take a chance of getting sick tonight from the crowded Mary Seaton Room with all the flu going around.

So we decided to stay home. We still have two more concerts scheduled in March and April.
