Democracy Book Challenge. Day 19 of the MAGA Dystopia. Peril by Bob Woodward and Robert Costa, 2021. This was a quick read for me in December 2021. Trump sure did like talking about himself to famous authors and reporters. In writing Peril Bob Woodward was at his best doing what he really knows how to do and that is exposing presidential malfeasance in office. It was an interesting look into the end of the Trump presidency, the first days of the Biden Administration, the 2020 election and the aftermath, the pandemic and the economic crises. He showed the orange turd to be truly evil.
I previously read Woodward's other books on Trump... Fear and Rage. He'll probably write another one and maybe the title will be MAGA Dystopia or maybe Orange Muskrat. Hopefully there won't be enough material and time in office to warrant another trilogy.
