This evening Becky and I attended the first Buffalo Chamber Music Society concert of the season in the Mary Seaton Room of Kleinhans Music Hall. It was a wonderful concert by the Takacs Quartet. They started off with a Schubert piece... Quartettsatz, D. 703. Then they added a fifth performer, a second viola player and the rest of the night was spent performing two Mozart Viola Quintets... No. 3 and No. 4. They were spectacular.During the intermission we saw a few people we knew including Dan and Barbara Schilfeling which was nice.
Overall a very nice evening and now looking forward to many more concerts in this series including a brass septet next month.
