Family Dinner @ JT's

Karen is flying back to California tomorrow morning and this evening we had a family dinner at JT's on Elmwood with Karen, Val, Dave and Donna and Becky and me. It was my idea to get together there and after talking with Karen I made the reservations for 5:30 pm. She wanted an early dinner so that she could get back to Dave's house and get ready for her flight.

The restaurant was fairly empty at 5:15 when we arrived. Val was already there sitting at the bar with a cosmo. The restaurant did fill up rather quickly as the evening progressed and was quite full by 6:30.

We all had a wonderful dinner and the service was great. I had black spaghetti. Becky had chicken parm, Val had the pork chops, Karen had the gnocchi, Donna had a chicken cutlet and Dave had the seafood soup. Everything was very tasty and the service was great.

We had a lot of food and didn't want dessert much to Val's disappointment. We were at our dinner table for two hours.

I started off with a glass of draft Perino. Becky and Dave too. Karen had a glass of white wine and I added a glass of a Toscanna blend which I usually have there.
