I had another session of kitchen listening to Jimmy Smith. My recent jazz gathering discussions about this wonderful organ player had me itching to play more of his albums. My last session with Jimmy Smith was listening to his 4 CD retrospective box set. Loved it but this time I played four of his albums from my collection that were not compilations which I do have several of. I've loved everything I have ever heard from this great jazz artist. I also especially loved listening to his duet albums with another favorite... Wes Montgomery on jazz guitar.
