We went for our regular daily neighborhood walk today. It was a beautiful day and we took our walk a little earlier than usual. It was a little after 1 pm. We could hear music coming from the Martin House which is not that unusual so we made sure we headed over that way as we walked. It turned out there was an event... the Martin House Familia Fun Day which is a celebration of Latin culture, food and heritage. We walked around the festival for about 20 minutes or so. There was a lot to see but we were in-between performances. We had just had our lunch otherwise it would have been fun to have some of the Hispanic food available. We enjoyed our time there and then continued on our walk around the block and back to our house.
