Birthday Dinner @ Trattoria Aroma

It was a Wednesday night a day after Becky's birthday.  We went out for dinner at one of our favorite restaurants... Trattoria Aroma on Bryant. It was great as usual. We had a wonderful dinner.

Becky had the Pappardelle Alla Bolagnese which is something I usually have there but tonight I had their Penne Aroma which is their pasta with sausage and mushrooms. I hadn't had that in a while and I'm really glad I had it again. It was spectacular. I had a nice glass of Toscanna red wine too. I followed that with some nice Birra Moretti.

We had been going to this restaurant for many years and long before when it was a different restaurant called Just Pasta. We loved it then and we love it now. The place does look like an old Italian restaurant. Recently they took down a mural on one wall and replaced it with a collection of wine bottles. There are still several murals and the new wall does look very nice.

Then we headed down to Hallwalls for an art opening reception.
