A Summer Day in April

April 29th and it really felt like summer today. There's not usually any summer weather in April in Buffalo but today was different. The temperature was in the low 80's. We couldn't sit in our backyard sunroom because it got to 94 degrees in there. I was working out in the backyard and broke into a sweat. I was wearing a t-shirt.

We got a lot done in the garden today. We went for a walk too and we saw lots of flowering trees all over the neighborhood. It was also nice that although this spectacular day was a Monday we can enjoy every moment of it. I never thought for a moment about going to work but I did see some folks come home from work and try to get some garden work done. It's so nice to be retired.
