Earlier this morning we got a text message from Katie letting us know that our pictures were in the Buffalo News today and she sent us a link to the online version. Yesterday was a beautiful cool sunny day and we had gone down to Canalside on the waterfront and apparently a Buffalo News photographer snapped this photo of me, Becky, my brother Dan, our niece Sara and her daughter Eliza as we were walking along the boardwalk past a display of Eclipse shirts. I do remember the guy taking pictures with a fancy camera but I thought he was shooting the ships at the Naval Park and not us. Later on we found out that Katie first saw the photo when Todd's mother Iris contacted her about it. Then she told us about it.
