Oktoberfest Dinner at the Terrace

Tonight Becky and I went out to dinner for a date night. No particular reason. We just wanted to go out for dinner. We had planned to go out by ourselves in Philly last week but it just didn't happen so we made some plans to go to The Terrace in Delaware Park. 

We tried to go there several weeks ago with Dave and Donna but couldn't get reservations. It's a great patio restaurant overlooking the Delaware Park lake and we've been there ourselves a couple of times in recent months and ate on the patio. We wanted to go again. We were there for my birthday last December and then in June for our wedding anniversary dinner. We've been wanting to go back.

This time we made reservations for the inside fireside dining room. It was very nice. Becky had shrimp and grits again but I went full on Oktoberfest with a wonderful schnitzel dinner along with an Oktoberfest beer from Big Ditch Brewery. We also had a very good beet and goat cheese salad. 

It was also a beautiful night to walk back and forth from the restaurant to our car parked on Lincoln Parkway.
