Who's the Goat?

It used to be that nobody wanted to be called a goat. In my mind someone was a goat, especially in sports, when they screwed up big time. The goat of a game was not something anyone wanted to be.

While watching the Olympics I kept hearing Shaun White being hailed the Goat even though he didn't medal. I was also hearing gymnast Simone Biles being called a goat. She even had a goat embroidered on her uniform. What was going on?

Then I remembered that I heard football commentators calling Tom Brady a goat during the playoffs.

I finally did a search on Google for Tom Brady being the goat and then realized that it was a somewhat new expression for the "Greatest Of All Time" GOAT. Wow, that was something. Had me fooled.
