Then I started on the year 2001 which of course would be all 20 year old songs and albums. I was accumulating a lot of albums that year. It would be a few more years before I got totally immersed in the online mixing world of Art of the Mix but a lot of songs from 2001 would find there way on to the current music mixes I was making at that time.
Around ten years ago I put together a list of my favorite 60 albums from 2001 and then added a bunch more. It was a good year for music. I later posted that list here.
That list was the basis for this mix and the other three that followed.
