Doors Open

Doors Open by Ian Rankin, 2008

Read in May 2015.

This was a very fascinating and odd crime novel about a group of people from the art world who rob  the National Gallery of Scotland in a way to convince people that no crime had been committed. This book was set in Edinburgh and a couple of years ago Becky and I visited the National Gallery there. It was a fabulous place and a wonderful setting for a crime heist of priceless art objects. This was a very enjoyable book with lots of twists and turns and the planning of the robbery was very interesting.
