Anniversary Dinner

We went out for our wedding anniversary dinner tonight. Our anniversary was yesterday but the restaurant we wanted to go to Ristorante Lombardo was closed on Monday. This was our 41st anniversary. Last year we had dinner from the same restaurant delivered by Grubhub. 

This was actually the first time we went to a restaurant since March 2020 where we sat inside and had a regular full service dinner that wasn't outside or along an open air area. The place was actually very crowded for a Tuesday night and there were many families there celebrating whatever it was that brought them together.

We were greeted at the door, wished a happy anniversary and thanked for celebrating it with them. When we got to our table we were comped a couple of nice glasses of champagne. There was also a Happy Anniversary card at our table next to the candle. We had a wonder dinner with great service. The restaurant knew about our anniversary because when I made the online reservation there was a special occasion box to check for wedding anniversary which I did.

We each had a nice glass of wine and then I had a wonderful Abbey Ale from Ommegang Brewery.
