Round and Round

I'm glad our home was designed with the circular arrangement of the rooms on the first floor. The grandchildren certainly love running around and around through the rooms.

I do it sometimes when I'm alone in the house while Becky is at her studio. It's been a pandemic thing this year. I will get up from my chair at the kitchen table where I'd been sitting with my laptop and start walking. Round and round. Through the kitchen, through the hall, then the foyer, into the living room, then the dining room and back into the kitchen. Over and over again. Round and round. I'm listening to the music on the stereo. Pondering. Remembering. Crying.
