Birthday Dinners

This will be the first time in many years that I've not gone out to dinner for my birthday. There have been times when we had heavy snow on December 6 and we went out another time during the week but not this pandemic year. We were able to go to a restaurant in September for Becky's birthday but it is different now. Too dangerous. Becky is making some nice chili for dinner tonight.

This is a tough time for restaurants. We would going out tonight in normal times but these certainly are not normal times. I feel really bad for restaurant owners and workers. We will do some take out this week like we did for our anniversary dinner in June. We had a wonderful take-out dinner from Ristorante Lombardo after we were unable to get a table on their patio. In September we were able to have a nice restaurant dinner on the patio of the Liberty Hound where there was plenty of space between tables and we had a wonderful view of the harbor.
