On The Street

Last night I noticed that there were hardly any cars parked on the street near our house. For months the street has been full of cars all the time. People have been staying home, working from home and not going out much. There have always been some people coming and going to the supermarket, etc and there have been some people working through the pandemic like the several healthcare professionals across the street. But last night was different. It was a Friday night. Christmas shopping? Are people going out? I don't think so but it does seem odd that the street was empty at 10 pm. 

This morning there are lots of empty spaces too. Maybe it's just that I have too much time on my hands and have been looking out the windows too much.
