The Old and the New

Our home is 114 years old and so of course you come across the old and the new throughout the house. One of these paradoxes stares back at me every day and every time I'm sitting at the kitchen table using my laptop like right now.

This photo shows the wall directly across from me. There is an installed phone jack that clearly has the Bell Telephone logo mark on the lower right corner. In the outlet directly below the phone jack is a WIFI signal booster. It looks like a little character on the wall with the antennae  for arms on the device body with the outlet above supplying the eyes and mouth in a surprise expressing with the arms held up. Very strange.
