Let's Go - Decade 1 Mix

A mega mix of music from the first decade of rock and roll approximately 1955 to 1965. 

This mix is a combination of several mixes that evolved over the years. Originally they were on cassette tape, then CDs and now files on a flash drive. They have also been and are now playlist on iTunes and Spotify. Every song here I have in my collection.

This is the music of my early youth. The music of the 1950's we were calling oldies in the mid 1960's.  Most of the songs on this mix I listened to all the time. This is the soundtrack of my early teenage years.

These songs were regularly played at the dances we went to all the time at Wagner's Ballroom, Holy Child church hall on Broad Street and at the area high schools. They were played all across Philadelphia for teenagers.

They were also played on the many radio stations by disc jockeys such as Jerry Blavit, Hy Lit, Joe Niagara and many more.
