Cottage Gardens

During our recent trips to Britain we have loved visiting gardens and especially cottage gardens. We also visited botanical gardens in Scotland, Ireland and England.

For Becky's birthday this year I got her a couple of books on the gardens of Britain. Both not only have beautiful pictures of various gardens throughout the British Isles but also contain lots of information on the plants themselves and how to create gardens of the type yourself.

The second book is about the private gardens of many of Britain's artist, musicians and creative types. A very interesting book.
