Aid to Israel and/or Aid to Ukraine

The difference here between Democrats in Congress and Republicans in Congress. The Dems have a bill that provides aid to both Israel and Ukraine. The US has been aiding Ukraine since the war against the Russian invasion that began last year and has had a significant impact on that nation's fight to protect their land and democracy from Putin's attempt to expand the Russian empire. The US has been sending aid to Israel for decades to help Israel defend itself against the threat of annihilation from the Arab world. Another democracy versus despots and totalitarian regimes.

The Republicans in Congress have finally stopped their internal civil war enough to attempt to put forward some legislation. Unfortunately they want to stop the aid to Ukraine but continue it for Israel. The new extreme right wing speaker actually wants to take the funding for the IRS away and send it to Israel with nothing for Ukraine. They want to take money from the war in Ukraine and give it to their corporate tax-cheat mega donors. Or should I say MAGA donors.

They want to continue giving aid to Israel not because they support the Jewish state but because it is in their holy land. It's a Evangelical Christian thing. It's obvious what they are doing. They don't support aiding an enemy of democracy when it goes against their support of right wing authoritarian regimes like Putin's Russia which is what they want America to be like under a trumpian dictator for life. I have no respect for republicans whatsoever these days. They are right wing authoritarians who want the world their way or no way. They will destroy democracy in America to get their way.
