Election Day 2020. It's certainly looks like it’s going to be a long night... and probably a long few days. Of course it would be nice to find out results sooner than later but the most important thing is to have every vote counted.
Whatever happens and however fast or slow it happens it is going to be a stressful time. I would certainly like to see a landslide victory for the Dems across the board in both the Senate and the Presidency that would be significantly enough to discourage any of trump's bullshit about a close election. I would like to see the Senate called for the Dems as early as possible to put a damper on the GOP and it would be nice to see some battleground states called early that would make a trump path to victory look impossible regardless of winning some states. We shall see and of course we have the TV on for election results as they happen.
However, as the night progresses my basic belief in America as a just and moral nation has been shattered. It is stunning to see that so many of our fellow Americans have voted for this hateful, racists, and disgusting bully.
Going to bed with flashbacks of 2016 but with a little more hope. Not much.
