Fox Pest Control

Yesterday we had our first experience with a professional exterminator at our home. We had decided on using Fox Pest Control. The young man who came by seemed very knowledgeable and went right to work spraying the foundation of our house and both the front and back porches after getting suited up.

The spray he was using on the bees would cling to them on contact and they would take it back to the hive to spread the infection. This was supposed to be very effective in stopping the spread of the bees and eliminating the hive.

By the end of the day we did not see any bees in the area.

We also had to purchase an extended agreement that will last a year which includes monthly spraying of the area around the house to ensure that the bees do not return and also as a deterrent for other pests such as carpenter ants which is a problem in the neighborhood although we haven't had them.

Update 8/18/25: We still have not seen any bees near our back porch.
