I've been posting a lot lately about the weather this summer in Buffalo. It's been different somewhat than it has been over the past few decades we've lived here. The summers are recently much hotter and this past week as been a good example. Then yesterday it got very chilly and wet. But today it has been a perfect summer weather day and very much like I remember Buffalo summers have been. It was sunny and cool. Breezy. Great weather to go for a walk, spend some time on the lake waterfront or along the river. Go to the park, walk along the canal, hangout in the zoo, sit on the porch, go to a restaurant patio, and so many of the other things that make living in Buffalo so pleasant over the summer months.
Recently it felt like a Philadelphia summer with the intense heat and humidity. And the winters have been different too. I haven't had to use my snowblower at all over the past two years. That's because the snow has come in much smaller amounts and spread out over time. It's been easier to keep up with and I haven't had the need to break out the snowblower for a foot or more of snow. It's only been a few inches at a time and I don't mind a little shoveling in small increments. Things have been different weatherwise.
