Dinner Party @ Dave & Donna's

Last night we were over at Dave and Donna's house for a backyard dinner party. Jim and Sonny were in town for the weekend but not with Cassie. So Dave and Donna had a bunch of family and friends over to hangout and have a cookout that Jimmy put together.

Dave and Donna, me and Becky, Mary and her boyfriend, Jim and Sonny, Joe and Lorraine, Amy and Doug with the two girls, Eric and Amy with Ivy, and Donna's nephew Mark. That makes 18 people including the two little ones. I was somewhat disappointed that Tom and Diane were not there. I really wanted to see Tom.

Jim made some wonderful food on the grill and there were plenty of side dishes that people brought. The gathering started at 5 pm. Most of the people left around 9 but Becky and I stayed until 10 pm talking mostly with Jim. We had a great time.

It was also perfect weather for an evening on the patio with many interesting conversations.
