Wishing You Were Here - Songs 1974 FV

This is the first of the reworked mixes of songs in my collection released in 1974. Over the years I've made several mixes of Songs 1974 but the configuration always change.

This mix has a few big hits but also lots of deep cuts. I was looking for that feel of sitting around our music room and listening to good songs you didn't hear on the radio.

I do remember hearing that Chicago song on the radio and being amazed that it had that wonderful Beach Boy sound. I didn't realize until later that the Beach Boys did actually sing on the record. It's become a favorite over the years.
