Builder of All Things Amazing

Our grandson Henry had his last day of the school year awards ceremony today and he was given the Builder of All Things Amazing Award. He had a card with his award on it and a few other statements that we wore around his neck all day.  The award statement said the following...  Industrious and inventive, loving big brother, sneaky and fun, the Builder of All Things Amazing Award.

His teachers are very perceptive and they certainly honed in on Henry's personality. He is very industrious and inventive in so many ways and much of that has to do with his love of building things great and small. His curiosity knows no bounds. He keeps himself busy and always wants to know more and more about everything. I was recently very impressed with his wanting to know everything about the Vikings the other day that he came across in a Where's Waldo book that had historical settings. He seemed fascinated about the Vikings traveling around the world and down rivers to find new places.

I really liked the comment on being a loving big brother. His interactions with his little sister Clara are amazingly loving and caring for the most part. He does have his moments of a little bullying but for the most part he is a nurturing and supportive big brother and a wonderful playmate too.

The comment about being sneaky and fun cracked me up and was also spot on. The teachers are great observers and hilariously captured his personality.
