Violet's Birthday

It's hard to believe that Violet turned two years old today. She is such a little sweetie and seems so very advanced for her age. She's talking now in full sentences and has such a welcoming smile for everyone. She is so much fun to be around. All of the kids are but she is just at that wonderful age where everything is new and exciting for her.

She has a very winning personality and endears herself to everyone she meets. She even has smiles for strangers in stores but is also exhibiting her caution too. 

She is really learning how to deal with her brother and sister and it is fun to watch. She also has the beginnings of "the twos" and she knows how to express his anger and displeasure.

We had a little birthday party for her at our house. The party was originally planned to be at Dick and Iris's downtown apartment but we couldn't have it there because of Iris's positive Covid test. They briefly came by to drop off birthday gifts while we masked up but it was all very sad for the other grandparents not to be able to fully participate.
