Afternoon River Walk

Today after lunch Becky and I drove out to Niawanda Park on the Niagara River in Tonawanda. We walked up and down the riverside for about an hour and then took out a couple of our foldup chairs from the car and sat in the shade under a tree for another hour or so doing some reading or spacing out on the river. It was a perfectly beautiful day to pass the time this way. We loved it.

Actually this was the first time this year that we went up to that park to walk along the river or to sit by the riverside. It's usually something we would do several times throughout the spring, summer and fall each year. Lately we've been just going down to the lake to hangout.

It is always a nice place to be in great weather. Lots of walkers, joggers and cyclists.

Many years ago Becky spent a lot of time at Niawanda Park with our kids during the summers. They both loved going up there during the day when I was at work and Becky was home with them. Going to that park was a regular thing with Becky and the kids.
