Paris Day Two - Dinner @ Le Napoleon Paris and Au Virage Cafe

After our little rest in our hotel room we walked up the street past the restaurant where we had dinner last night and continued past other cafes and restaurants. There were people crowded on all the sidewalk cafes and every restaurant was full. This was the evening following a terrorist knife attack on diners in this very same neighborhood but it show that Parisians were not going to be intimated. Young people were everywhere and we felt safe to be out and about on this Sunday evening in Paris.

We went to Le Napoleon Cafe for some dinner. We had researched all the restaurants near our hotel a head of time and this one was on our list. It was located at 73 Rue de Faubourg, Saint Denis on the corner at Rue de Petities Ecuries. Our restaurant last night was at 59 on that same street. We sat on the patio drinking a bottle of Cote du Rhone with a wonderful dinner which was actually some small plates because we were still full from our large late lunch. We sat there for a while watching the busy neighborhood street activities. It was all very entertaining.

Afterward we walked a little further down the street to the Au Virago Cafe where we had a couple of Belgian Laffee beers. It was getting to be a late night and we headed back to the hotel to crash. Another very busy day.
