Today we saw on our newsfeeds that Sly Stone has passed away at the age of 82. I have very many wonderful memories of the music of Sly & The Family Stone from over the years.I was very fortunate to see Sly & The Family Stone in concert on my 17th birthday in 1968 along with a few other bands. A great show. I also saw him a second time on the 1968 tour.
I'll be playing some Sly albums for my kitchen listening this week.
