Post Surgery - Day 5 - Saturday

Another painful day. Well, everyday is these days. I'm getting around a little better but the pain has really been focused on the incision and the area where the hernia mesh was placed.

It was a beautiful day today. A very summer like spring day. Warm and sunny and a welcome relief after so much rain and cooler weather the past few weeks. Becky has been spending a lot of time in the garden doing weeding and putting in plants. I sit in a chair and read.

I did a few things today. I took off the cover on the a/c unit and put it away in the shed. I also used a wrench to take the hose off the old hose carry unit and got it placed on the new one that Becky got at Home Depot this week. The old one was probably over 20 years old.

Sean, Ashley and the kids are visiting Katie this weekend and this evening Ashley called us for a video chat with them all. It was great seeing all five grandchildren together having fun and we wish we could have been there too. They also went to the science museum downtown and Andrew loved the dinosaurs. Lots of great photos.
