Jimmy Carter RIP
Former President Jimmy Carter passed away today at the age of 100. Just by coincidence I'm currently reading a biography of Ronald Reagan and today I was reading the chapter on the 1980 presidential election campaign where Carter was defeated by Reagan. It was a real eye-opener.
Carter was also a Navy veteran and the only president of the US that was a graduate of the US Naval Academy.
