Simple pleasures during the wintertime pandemic include watching the birds at the feeder near our kitchen window and having video chat calls with Katie and our grandchildren. Reading a good book, writing essays, listening to a classic album or a brand new one, watching a concert on YouTube, sitting in our backyard cabana, binging a TV show, watching a movie, riding the stationary bike, playing the keyboard, sitting at the 2nd floor window overlooking our street, making a new mix.And Becky enjoys baking bread, making soups, buying and selling on eBay, going to her studio to make art, making shopping lists for pickup or delivery, watching old movies.
And knowing we will be getting our first vaccination shots in a few days.
