Packing for Vacation

Packing for our Adirondack vacation was a little more complicated this year because after our week in Long Lake we would be driving down to Sean and Ashley's house on Saturday. The plan was to stop there first then later in the afternoon we would drive ten minutes down the road to the Comfort Inn where we booked a room for Saturday and Sunday nights. Then we would head back to Buffalo on Monday morning. The trick was to have a bag with clothes and a few things for those days separate from our big pile of stuff from the week in the Adirondacks.

That big pile of stuff includes lots of towels, clothes both for hot and cold weather, several bags of food, the full cooler, jackets and rain gear, etc, etc.

So here are some pics of our packing for this special vacation. The car is loaded and we're ready to go. We plan to be there sometime between two and three this afternoon.

There are a couple of suitcases buried under that pile in the back of the car. That smaller suitcase is for the hotel nights.

We're driving up there the day after 4th of July so we're hoping the traffic won't be too bad. Most people will probably be there already. Hopefully.
