CBS Cancels Colbert

The CBS network has collapsed to the political pressure of the evil dictator and cancelled the highest rated talk show because the orange taco doesn't like being made fun of on TV. He sued CBS because of a 60 Minutes show he didn't like and apparently the settlement deal he and CBS came up with included taking Steven Colbert off the air. This show has been running for three decades but will now end after the 2025-2026 season. Well, at least they didn't just cut them off immediately.

CBS officially says dropping the show was purely a financial decision and had nothing to do with political content or criticism of the president. Like anyone believes that... CBS Paramount recently requested a merger with the Skydance media company which requires Trump's approval.

Becky and I have been watching Stephen Colbert a lot especially over the past few years and almost exclusively on YouTube. We don't watch any late night television live. We rather watch it when we want to watch it and that always means watching clips of the show on our own time. Perhaps Colbert will continue his show somewhere else.
