BC Automotive

We needed our car inspected and checked out before we headed up to the Adirondacks. Over the past several years we have been taking our car to the shop around the corner, Parkside Automotive, which was very convenient. We could drop off the car and walk home and then go pick it up later. The mechanic was fine though a little more expensive but being so close made it worth it. Then he recently closed up and moved to Florida.

So we took the car over to BC Automotive by Delaware Avenue across from Marshalls. Chris from BC Automotive had been our mechanic for many years and took care of both of our cars when we was on Hertel Avenue down the street from Becky's studio. It was convenient for us both because we had two cars and Becky could drop off a car there and then later in the day walk down from the studio to pick it up. Then he moved his business over to Delaware Avenue. Shortly after that Eric opened his car repair shop around the corner.

Becky and I both took the car over to Chris' and the plan was to take a Lyft home but that's another story.

Later in the day around 4 the car was ready and Becky and I took a Uber ride over to the garage to get the car. The car was inspected, new wipers, new oil change and filters. Topped off other fluids too. We were now ready to travel.
