Lynch on Lynch

Lynch on Lynch by David Lynch, 1997. Edited by  Read this amazing film memoir recently after his passing. I saw all of his movies. Got his albums too. It was interesting to read what he had to say about his films over the years.

One of the things I liked about reading this was the format of short pieces on different films at different time. I jumped around a lot and read essays on movies and television shows. Also his artwork and photography.  He had a very fascinating life and also very entertaining.

I started reading in January shortly after he passed away. Sean got the book for a film class and it was on our book shelf waiting for me. It took me over six months to read through it because I had the book near my reading chair and would pick it up, read an essay and then let it sit for a week or so. But I always got back to it.
