After our morning at the Schenectady Greenmarket we went to lunch along the Mohawk River. Sean and Ashley had made reservations for us at Max 401 at the Waters Edge. It was a very nice restaurant overlooking the Mohawk River with a wonderful dining room and a spectacular patio porch. We luckily got a table for five on the patio.
Now of course we had Andrew with us and he was very good throughout our time there but we really couldn't linger and hangout as we might have done without a two year old in need of a nap. But we did have a wonderful time there and the food was very good. Becky and I had shrimp po' boy sandwiches with fries.
The view was great. We could see the river and boats going by alongside the restaurant. The place was very crowded too and was obviously a very popular destination for lunch on a Sunday afternoon.
The food was good and we ate a lot. We also didn't realize that Ashley's dad Fuzz was making us a big Sunday night pasta dinner.
