London Day One - Tapas Brindisa and The Hereford Arms

After a brief rest in our hotel room we were ready to get out see London again. We had stayed at this hotel before and we knew the surrounding neighborhood. We walked down the street to a restaurant we enjoyed before on our last trip to London... Casa Brindisa. This restaurant was located, along with a few others, facing courtyard plaza along Exhibition Road. We had sat outside there before but we sat inside on this visit.

We had some wonderful tapas for dinner along with a pint of Estrella Galicia Especial lager. Very nice.

After dinner we walked back toward our hotel and stopped along the way at another tried and true establishment that we've had a wonderful time during our previous visit to London. The Hereford Arms Pub is just down the street from our hotel and we stopped in for a beer and to watch some soccer on the tv.  I had a pint of cask Fullers London Pride bitter ale.

It was a very long day that included traveling from Dublin, spending a lot of the day walking around Hyde Park and going to galleries and then an evening at a restaurant and then a pub so we were very tired. We made our way back to the hotel and crashed but we were looking forward to a Monogram tour of London the next morning.
