Today Becky and I got our Covid-19 vaccination booster shots from Pfizer at Walgreen's. We made online appointments the day before when we heard the shots were approved and available for people over 65. We also put down that we would like flu shots too.
There was a line at the pharmacy because there were some people who needed help filling out the necessary forms. It makes one feel fortunate that we don't have the struggles that many people our age have completely the tasks of everyday living.
Once we got to the counter everything moved very quickly. The pharmacist recommended that we not get the flu shot at the same time as the vaccine so we didn't. We quickly filled out our forms, sat for a couple of minutes and then were called in for our shots. The entire process from the time we left our house for the pharmacy until we were back home again took about an hour.
Update: I had no affects from the shot other than a little bit of a sore arm. Becky had some fatigue and headache which lasted a couple of days.
