Eric Clapton has become a well known anti-vaxxer, anti-masker and anti-lockdown nutjob. He has refused to play any venue that requires a proof of vaccine and has been supporting Van Morrison's conspiracy theory rants. They have also done a couple of right wing political songs together.

This is a wonderful cartoon from the New Yorker and I especially like the couple of right wing q-maga politicians in Kiss makeup. The only thing missing is the Dodo Bird.

Eric Clapton was known in the 1970's for his racists rants about immigrants and his shouting the Keep Britain White slogans of the National Front at concerts. He was also active in fighting the ban of fox hunting in Britain. Played some good music though. Thankfully he never did any of that crazy shit when I saw him in concert back in the day.
