A Walk In The Zoo

It was a nice sunny afternoon for a walk but also a little chilly and windy. We did enjoy our walk very much and had decided it would be nice to visit the zoo. The zoo wasn't very crowded for a Sunday afternoon but we did enjoy our time there. We especially love seeing the small children running around the exhibits.

We did spend some quality time in the Rainforest Building and the animals seemed very active. Especially the monkeys and the birds. We spent close to an hour there and then headed back home. While walking down Russell we ran into our old friend Molly and stood around talking for awhile. It turned out that she was also just down at the zoo for a power walk and we just missed running into her there.

It is so nice to have the zoo so close to our home and as members we love making it part of our neighborhood walking routines.
