ELO - Kitchen Listening

Kitchen Listening album today... Electric Light Orchestra's Flashback compilation. This 3 CD box set was released in 2000. This set covers songs from all of their albums going back to 1971 and right on through to 2019 and also includes some songs from over the years that had never been released. This was some fun listening. They had so many great songs.

But it did take me awhile to really appreciate ELO. Back in the 70's I didn't take to them too much. I thought they were always a little over produced although over time I did get to like them more and more. Listening to them today was a joy. The hits and the deep cuts too.

I also really liked Jeff Lynne's work as a record producer.
