Lots of Ice

There is lots of ice buildup everywhere. Giant ice cycles on the roof and thick ice along the walkway alongside our house. I've gone through a 50 lb bag of rock salt over the past couple of weeks and I'm glad I bought two of them.

Part of the problem was that we were not able to get our roof gutters cleaned out before winter really set in. We were scheduled but it just didn't happen because of the weather in early December which is when we usually have the gutters cleaned. This winter the clogged gutters made for more ice buildup than usual and a lot of the melting runoff refroze into serious ice sheets. Lucky I had all of that rock salt.
